Graze Nashville | Vegan Brunch

Nashville veggies are familiar with the wildly popular Wild Cow Vegetarian Restaurant in East Nashville.  (Couldn’t resist.)  The place has been around for years, and attracts even the most die-hard omnis.  It’s a must-stop every time I’m in town.

With that said, fans will be thrilled to know that the owners of The Wild Cow have opened a vegan bistro in the same center.  In addition to lunch and dinner, the new place offers a relaxed atmosphere, a cocktail menu, freshly pressed juices, and a fantastic brunch.

On any other day, a smoothie would’ve hit the spot.  However, when you’re on vacation, why not indulge?

The first thing you see when you plop down at the bar is the impressive perfect inspection notice.  Too awesome not to share.

The bar is pretty cozy.  We chatted with the staff the whole time.  Everyone is really friendly.

If you’re a late riser like me, you’ll really appreciate the all-day breakfast.  There are tons of options!

We started with some really good mimosas.  Very refreshing, given the ridiculous summer heat.  The OJ is juiced in-house, too!

If you’re a bloody mary person, they now serve Nikki’s Hot A** Bloody Mary Mix, a spicy, vegan, no-preservative mix.  The company is based in Memphis, and bottled in Nashville.

We started with the Citrus Caesar, which is wilted kale, sun-dried tomatoes, carrots, cashew parmesan, lemon zest, vegan caesar dressing & pine nuts.  Delicious!  It was pretty big, too, so enough for two to share.

Next, we had the breakfast burrito.  It’s stuffed with seitan chorizo, roasted potatoes, vegan cheddar cheese, quinoa & spinach.  It’s spicy and very filling.  Add a little of Wild Cow’s own hot sauce, and it’s perfect.

We had a great time!  Graze is open Tuesday through Sunday 8AM til 11PM.  They change their specials daily, so keep an eye out on their Facebook page.
